What is Hakomi?

The Hakomi method combines Western psychology, systems theory, and body-centered techniques with the mindfulness and non-violence principles of Eastern philosophy.

Practitioners of Hakomi look at people as self-organizing systems, organized psychologically around core memories, beliefs and images; this core material expresses itself through habits and attitudes that make people individuals.

Hakomi is a method for helping people transform their way of being in the world through working with core material and changing core beliefs. Hakomi relies on mindfulness of body sensations, emotions and memories.” (Excerpt from Wikipedia)

What is Sexological Bodywork?

One of the somatic realms that Sexological Bodyworkers introduce to our students is a state of arousal that is free of fantasy, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, cultural caveats and habitual sexual behaviors. In this meditative state, an individual becomes aware of the body as a source of wisdom and freedom.

Sexological Bodyworkers are somatic, erotic educators, assisting individuals, couples and groups to deepen their experience of embodiment. We are trained sexologists whose certification is approved by the State of California. We offer experiential learning opportunities that consciously access profound ecstatic and erotic states. Our teaching involves a variety of instructive modalities, including breathwork, touch, erotic massage, pelvic release bodywork, scar tissue remediation and Orgasmic Yoga coaching.

One of the ways to access this fecund state is by actively receiving a Taoist Erotic Massage. Helping others access and make use of a variety of erotic states is foundational to the education we offer.Sexological Bodyworkers believe that sexual health and erotic education are basic human rights.

Deep work

“Hi Tallulah, I wanted to mention that I am making great progress thanks to the deep work we are doing. I feel less codependent with my spouse. I'm also more in the moment, happy, and exploring and experiencing my physical and spiritual side. The connection has made me feel wonderful and empowered for the first time. Thank you very much - you rock!”  - E.
